Filed 486 EAD AP on Aug 16
Received all Receipts in Oct, Received EAD in Nov.
But no AP yet and also when I check online it shows

Ppl dont deserve, its their right. If they understand the meaning of deserve, they would be in DC with families.
But we educated ppl still think we dont deserve.
I dont know when we will come out of our comfort zone.
Its very easy to find 1000 cowards but always hard to find 1 brave person.
I am sure all our educated brethern are BRAVE ppl, but i think hesitant to show it outside their comfort zone.

It means USCIS has pre-adjudicated your I-485 if it was filed before october 2008.
I hope so..
But checking my July 2007 I485 online status, it says it was last updated in Dec 2007..
Shouldn't we all have got recent LUDs or RFEs if all of us were recently pre-adjugated

First of all congratulations to ind_game.
Today I received NOID for not submitting AC21. My I-140 is not revoked. I received an RFE last month for birth certificate & updated g-325a form. In the g-325a form I mentioned my current employer which would have triggered NOID for AC21.
I left the GC sponsored employer after 9 years on May 2008 well after 180 days and joined an insurance company. The company got hammered by financial crises. So I left that company and joined other stable company on Dec 2009 as a full time employee.
My current job description is similar to the one mentioned on ETA but not same. I am not sure if changing 2 jobs will be a problem.
If anyone had submitted any documents for AC21 please share. I will really appreciate it.

i had put up the previous two posts on this page asking about relief for Schedule A professionals in 2008......time has passed by but nothing has changed.....no sight of any relief or any schedule A bill........missed the july 2007 fiasco due to employer insisting on 40 day cool off period........have been in US for 6 years......no sign of EB3 india being even close to Oct 2007 (my PD)........employer has refused to file EB2 point blank.......no other employer ready for EB2........spouse on h4 visa since oct. 2006......have lost all hope and just going through the motions......is there light at the end of tunnel???

I live in Minneapolis. I too am on H4.Same thing happened to both my husband and myself here last October.We had moved recently from Indiana and the DMV said they won't issue new licenses for both myself and my husband (it doesn't matter if u r on H1 or H4)until we give the extended I94. We had our Indiana licences also canceled .We didn't know what to do and then we enquired some of our friends and came to know that if we show our original USCIS Receipts for Extension filed they give ur license for 6 months from the USCIS Receipt Date. So we did that and got our extension until April. U have to show the Original Receipt ,No Xerox .And now we got our extension papers and reapplied for a new license and got it. May be u too can enquire about this,because I think all DMVs tend to follow similar rules.

Ah, so you are looking to purchase in Hyd. Here is the latest, if you already don't know.
There is a talk about HMDA which is an agency to overlook a project extending the Hyderabad to Bhongir in the East and to Medak in the west.
There will be strict implementation of plans for constructing new houses.
Realtors have already started marketing this and extracting high prices.
If you do have time to research, you can purchase land for cheap (around 3-4 thousand rupees per sql yard) in the outskirts.

We applied in Nebraska in August 2003, Cleared in State on August 29th 2003, Transferred to Chicago DOL on Sept 1st 2003..Got Certfied on Oct 16th 2003...So yes..in some states Labor was VERY Quick.

Assuming that the PD cut off date for a specific stream is 2004 Aug and there are still visa nos available but there are not enough application (can this ever happen for real) what are they going to do? They move the PD further up and whenever the pool is depleting they move it back again?
Assuming they move back the PD to 2000 after they ran out of the nos they start accepting AOS apps for that PD but they donot look at them (for adjudication) until the queue before is cleared based on the receipt date.
In such a case the PD lost all it's significance once the adjustment of status if filed?
If receipt date is the only significant date after AOS is filed then retrogressing to a specified date does not make sense as there is no need to accept new applications if they are not going to work on them and particularly when they know the current size of the queue.
Or May be I am missing something......

On the other hand i had my PD current on July and i applied. After i applied and before you applied there could be 10k(for example) applications. Now when its time to process application which one they should process yours or mine?. Obviously they will process the one that they got first. They not going to look for the PD and pull out your's from the pile of applications. Its your fault that you have not applied early enough even though your PD was current.

Well, everyone is going to pay just one time for EAD from now on ... but sad thing is they need to apply for EAD again in a year ... at that time it's gonna be free applying :D
