Hi there,
I work for one of big 4 consulting companies. Home office based NJ and live in NJ as well. Travel to Client A mon - thurs.
I rolled off from the project at client A and will be starting at client B.
Both Client A & B are in the same city in MA.
1. Will a LCA update be required even if you new client is in the same city/ state ?
2. How long does it take these days to update the LCA ?
3. Like H1 transfer can you start working at the new client on the USCIS receipt # ?

The extremely contrasty background doesn't help, and the blown highlights on the dog's nose are also distracting. I'm not sure how much it would help, but you might try using fill flash (that still won't solve the background issue). Shooting on a day that's not overcast might help bring the sky into range.

Guys, I could use some suggestions here. I had filed for my and wife's EAD on July 30th. My wife wasn't working and my EAD is valid until mid-November. However recently my wife got a job offer and will starting work next week. Her EAD actually expires 15th Oct. Reading through posts it seems that the chances of her receiving EAD approval within 75 days is highly unlikely. Can anyone give suggestions on what is the best course of action to follow to ensure she doesn't have to take a break soon after joining?

Can anyone recommend a lawyer to handle a PERM/Green Card application for an attorney position in the DC area? My employer recently got a quote for 6-8k for legal fees and 10k for the recruitment ads.
Also 10k for Sunday print and other ads seems excessive and I am trying to show my employer that it can be done for less. Can anyone please share a sample add (preferably for an attorney) used for their PERM application?

Hello,
I am a canadian of Indian Origin.I was granted US Immigrant visa under the EB3 category at the Montreal US consulate in 2004.At that time I could not take my family for the interview and we chose to take their Visa later.after 5 years now we have decided to move to US (I am on commuters GC now) and has been trying for an appointment for my family at the consulate in Montreal.The consulate has informed me couple months back that there is no visa number available and my priority date is also not current (our priority date is Mar 2002).Is there any way out of this as I read now that the priority date is stuck in 2001 for a few years now and there is no real chance of moving ahead any time soon.I realise now that maybe we should all have taken the visa at that time instead of just me.Now I am stuck , is there no special case for my type of case as I had already been granted Visa earlier or since My case was already approved in 2004? I will appreciate any help or advise.

Can i leave the employer while i-140 is pending.....???If emplyer assures me that he won't revoke the i-140...???

I am working for a MNC and I got L1 visa stamped. After marriage I got my H4 visa stamped.(After L1 stamping) But the Visa officials have not marked the L1 visa cancelled in the passport, does it mean that the Visa is still valid? Does that mean that i can still travel on my L1 visa?
If your L1 petition is still valid (not withdrawn by employer) and you intend to work for that employer (ie. fullfill all other L1 requirements) then yes, you can still travel on L1 and maintain L1 status in the US.

On November 27, the USCIS announced that they had received 58,900 H-1B petitions toward the 65,000 cap. So there are 6,100 numbers remaining, correct? (Update: By December 4, the USCIS had received 61,100 H-1B petitions toward the 65,000 cap.) Not exactly. Hello,
I have already filed I-751 under removal from country results in extreme hardship,I am going through divorce process,I want to change cateogory in I-751 [marrige entered into good faith but terminated by divorce] ,so please anybody can tell me that when I will get me my divorce decree I have to refile new I-751 for cateogory change into------marriage entered into good faith but terminated by divorce.so plz help me i need to refile or just only amendment letter to uscis.if any body has gone through this process plz help me.

My wife is currently on H4 and we have EAD/AP, though not used. She is planning to apply for H1 with new employer.
When approved, does she need to leave the country and get visa stamped before starting employment.
If she leaves the country and enters using the AP document, will it cause any issues with her H1. Any input will be appreciated. Thank you.

I was on F1 visa and applied for my GC / I485 thru my spouse few years back. Unfortunately while coming back from India 3 years back, I used my stamped F1 visa instead of AP. My lawyer told me that due to this, I have abondoned my AOS and he has to withdraw my 485 and refile it when it will be current. Few days back spouse became current and attorney was preparing to apply for 485 again but in USCIS the status of my application was still shown pending not withdrawn. To our surprise, we saw 2 GC in the mail and the online status was shown approved. But the attorney is saying that we should re-file the 485 since USCIS did not withdraw my application and approved it. They says that I might have issues if my absence is detected when I will apply for citizenship later. Please suggest. I am so puzzled and tensed..
