I have mailed my 485 on july 16th and NSC recieved it on july 17th.My question is looking at the TSC processing times which says July 18th,is my application already preadjusted,485notice date is september 15th.Can anybody tell me how the processing date really works.

If they start processing/approve I-140, they will immi get bombarded with I485/EAD/AP applications. So they are trying to artifically stem down the workload they might get. Also this gives them a chance to clearup the 485 queue ... :-)

Another thing is do I need to show on departure do I need to show the AP Approval. If I don't then if I leave US and my friend mail it to my place abroad is that ok as my USCIS online application status check system shows my I-131 approved on January 8 and mailed.
You can try it at your local USCIS office after taking infopass appointment. But they may ask you to pay money again for the same. Hope this helps.

My guess is that we have discussed enough about the bill. Next in the line is the dream act for children of undocumented immigrants. Do we want to have a campaign to add children of legal immigrants to the bill or we want to only discuss the implications about the act, once it is passed by house and senate.

I believe this is amendment to reconcillation bill between the house and sentate bill.
Sorry, I'm still confused, but it is entirely possible its my misunderstanding of American Senate and House of Representatives proceedings. How does a Senator add an amendment to a House of Representative bill?
Are we talking about 240,000 greencards to recapture or 2,400,000?
By the way - just because you make the letters huge and bold, it doesn't make it easier to comprehend.

I have a question about a unique situation of getting stuck in BEC and applying 485 with a newer PERM case. If LC is stuck in BEC at this time, but the person has a new PERM+140 from a different location and applies 485. Can this person change the priority date of 485 when the old LC from BEC gets approved, and 140 approved, to the BEC PD?

A thought comes to mind on reading your post.
Is that what the average Amrican wants us to do? Do they want us immigrants to be kept away from participating in innovation? Do they want us to keep working mundane jobs? Do they want us to lag behind them?
This is just a speculation no hard proofs but only a thought.
Isn�t this what the American companies want?. They get qualified people who keep doing the same job for less and churning millions for the companies. Also, the big companies are fighting to get H1s quota increased, they do not care about whether these people get GCs are not, being in H1 for long serves them right.
Isn�t this what many people here want?. They can boss over us for many years even if you are more qualified then them since you cannot change your profile.

Simply send the check of $5 to Immigration Voice at the address listed in the first post as if you were paying a utility bill. That way your bank will send IV a check of $5.00 (or whatever amount you want it to) and IV gets the WHOLE $5 and no fees are deducted.

Just called Scott Brown and Senator Greg. The person who picked up the phone in Scott Brown offcie noted my name and address. He said he will give my message to the Senator. The lady in Judd Gregg office said that Senator has not yet decided on the immigration proposal but she said the Senator appreciates the call. She did not ask my details but said that the Senator has supported immigration bills in the past. They both sounded very positive.
Printed out the post and I will continue to call all Senators.
